I generally attempt to be more active during the weekend since I work in an office atmosphere throughout the week. But the thought of walking outdoors in January usually only leads to me become a couch potato. I'm a California girl who originally moved to Washington for college. I think it's pretty clear by now that we love food. We also love day trips. It's a great way for us to be completely spontaneous and have fun without breaking the bank. So when Valentine's day came around, SHU and I wanted to spend our day doing the two things we love most: eating and traveling. This time, we chose Richmond, BC to fill our craving for some delicious Chinese food. As soon as we crossed the border, we turned off our phone data and completely winged it. No researching and no Yelping. It was such a fun way to just break away from our usual routine of vacation planning and allowed us to explore the city by just following the crowds.
